About Me

Hi, I'm Amirah Roberts, the founder of Everything But BASIC. I'm 17 years old, born on October 11, and I've always believed that creativity has the power to tell stories, bring people together, and turn ideas into something meaningful.

In late 2021, I moved from Dallas, Georgia to Atlanta, and that transition challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone and discover who I wanted to become. Through new experiences, opportunities, and obstacles, I found myself leaning into creativity as a way to express myself and build something that reflected who I am.

What started as a passion for creating soon became a vision. I didn't want to build something ordinary—I wanted to create a brand that celebrated individuality, imagination, and self-expression. That's how Everything But BASIC was born.

Over the years, I've explored writing, designing, entrepreneurship, and creative projects that allowed me to share my ideas with others. Each challenge taught me resilience, each success built confidence, and each new opportunity reminded me that growth happens when you're willing to take a chance on yourself.

Today, Everything But BASIC is more than a business. It's a reflection of creativity without limits—a place where journals, custom creations, and meaningful collections come together to inspire people to embrace what makes them unique.

My goal is simple: to continue creating, growing, and building something that encourages others to dream bigger, express themselves boldly, and never settle for being basic.
